Just off Pikai st. I-38 returns to the beach. I was already in the area when I saw I-38 so I didn't have my camera with me. She only was on the beach till about 1pm and then took off. I-38 doesn't do good around crowds and seems always jittery, so we try extra hard to keep people and other living things back.

I believe her real name is RI37 her tags are I37/I38. She had a miscarraige in Jan 011. The pup was said to be a female born still born at Kaena Point.
She miscarried the year before possible due to scaring over the uterine area by a propeller from a boat. We wish her well.
I did her that people got a little to close that day and someone was trying to take a picture of her and she reared up and barked at them.
They thought you could get close to get a picture but people need to know to stay 150ft away. Draw a big circle around the seal in the SAND or maybe a u-shaped one at least 50ft. if possible hopefully people can understand that that would be a protection zone.
